Quests

Side quests, rewards, relationships and progression.

Quests in Grim Trials are connected to relationships and progression, not just story text. Official descriptions say Academy quests build relationships and can unlock advice, knowledge, and support, while the public demo has included side quests that reward new crafting recipes.

No fabricated walkthroughs: specific launch quest names, objectives, choices and rewards will only be added once they can be verified in the final build.

What types of quests are confirmed?

Two useful categories are already visible. First, Academy relationship quests are part of the broader social progression system. Second, the demo has used side quests to unlock practical crafting recipes. That makes quests relevant to both narrative players and players focused on combat progression.

Why quests matter for builds

If a side quest awards a new weapon, armor, or potion recipe, completing it can expand the equipment choices available before future runs. This is why an efficient beginner route should not reduce Grim Trials to “fight until you reach the boss.” Checking the Academy for unlockable content is part of the progression loop.

How the launch-day quest wiki will work

Each verified quest page should record the giver, prerequisites, objective steps, reward, relationship effect, missable conditions, and any build unlock. Choice consequences will be kept separate from basic completion steps so spoiler-sensitive readers can use the guide safely.
